The 3-phase entry to the PSU6200 line

The 6EP34xx 7SB00 family extends the all-around PSU6200 to 3-phase panels: the 5 A unit draws only 0.33 A per phase at 400 V, keeps 20 ms of mains buffering, and tolerates 323-576 V AC or 450-600 V DC – including unbalanced or DC-backed 3-phase networks.

Power reserve and protected output

The unit supplies 6 A continuously up to +45 C and 150% of rated current (7.5 A) for 5 s per minute. Output protection trips below 32 V on overvoltage, and on persistent short circuit the unit shuts down and periodically retries – the fault clears without a fuse or service call.

Slim housing, push-in wiring

At 35 mm wide with 45 mm top/bottom clearance and push-in terminals on both sides, the metal housing snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail; no side clearance is required, so cabinets stay compact at approx. 91.2% efficiency.

3-phase power without a phase module

Connecting directly to 400-500 V 3 AC saves a transformer or single-phase tap in new panels, and the wide 323-576 V range plus DC input option keeps one article number valid across plants and DC-backed systems.

Extra power where loads need it

150% for 5 s per minute and 6 A up to +45 C cover capacitive inputs, converters and actuators, so the 5 A unit serves panels that briefly exceed its rating without oversizing the cabinet.

Status visible at the door

The green 24 V OK LED and the electronic DC OK contact give the controller a hard signal, and the unit pairs with SITOP buffer, redundancy and DC-UPS modules when the application needs more availability.

Within the 3-phase line the PSU4200 is the basic alternative, the PSU6200 5 A is the only non-parallel unit, and all 10 A to 40 A ratings can be paralleled 2-up; the 7SC00 Ex variants add coated printed-circuit boards for corrosive atmospheres, while PSU8200/PSU8600 3-phase units cover modular and PROFINET-monitored systems.

The supply feeds 24 V control loads from a 400-500 V 3 AC or DC-backed network and pairs with SITOP selectivity, redundancy, buffer and DC-UPS modules.
